Facial Electrotherapy - Accredited
Advance your facial skin care treatments with a range of electrical facial treatments.
Covering galvanic, high frequency, microdermabrasion, micro-current, lymphatic drainage and EMS. This course is perfect for those wanting to offer advanced skin care treatments without the use of blades or needles, but without compromising results. These traditional treatments won't let you down.
The theory element of this course will be delivered online PRIOR to attendance. Essential information will be recapped during the course, and you will have access to discuss any queries with a tutor throughout the online learning process.
This is a 5 day course, in which you will be working on live models. You will be required to submit a minimum of 6 case studies online.
All sessions will involve practice on a live model (We do all we can to supply models for these dates however you may be asked to support this where necessary), and you will be able to add a kit to your booking so that you are able to complete case studies.
If you prefer, we can arrange time for you to complete your case studies at the centre, allowing you to invest in your choice of products and kits after you have gained your qualification.
You must hold a skin care certificate to be able to enrol on this course. The Facial Skin Care course is our recommended pre-requisite
Session 1 – 4
Theory and practical training with all machine. Content includes - Skin conditions and contra-indications. Products & tools – pre care, correct selection, use of machines and aftercare.
Session 5
Practical session and troubleshooting
You will be required to submit a minimum of 6 case studies, and 1 knowledge quiz online prior to certification. Case studies can be completed at the centre if required.

Practical assessments
You will be required to submit a minimum of 6 case studies, and two assignments online prior to attending session 5.
You may also be required to sit online/paper based examinations, depending on the awarding organisation that is regulating your qualification. If this is required, this will be scheduled for the end of session 4

Facial Electrotherapy - Conversion Course
Already hold a Facial Electrotherapy certificate or experience that you are looking to update, or convert to a regulated qualification? We can help!
You will be required to submit evidence of your current certification or experience, and at least 6 current clients (within the last 3 months) that you treat with a range of skin needling treatments, and two assignments online prior to attending an assessment session. During the assessment sessions, you will be required to carry out a minimum of 4 full treatments, using all of the equipment (galvanic, high frequency, microdermabrasion, micro-current, lymphatic drainage and EMS) and application of pre and post care products.
You also need to hold a regulated Level 2 in Beauty Therapy, or a regulated Facial Skin Care qualification to be able to convert your existing skills and knowledge. If you need to gain either of these qualifications, please let us know as we are able to help!
One of our qualified assessors will evaluate your application, and inform you of whether you are required to attend a skills evaluation prior to your assessment session. It is important to note that a skills assessment is recommended in every case, as a prior qualification or experience does not guarantee you will be considered competent during your assessment session. Your competency is assessed on performance during your assessment session, along with your supporting assignment and examination where required.
