Spray Tanning - Professional Beauty Direct Accredited
Using well known, branded tan products, learn how to spray tan your clients, for a long lasting flawless tan. Along with the essential knowledge, we will be covering prep, and finishing of the tanning treatment to ensure a streak free long lasting result, we will also demonstrate how to manage the equipment and products for an effective tanning treatment.
The theory element of this course will be delivered online PRIOR to attendance. Essential information will be recapped during the course, and you will have access to discuss any queries with a tutor throughout the online learning process.
This 1 day training course will ensure you have the knowledge and skills to complete spray tanning treatments. Both sessions will involve practice on a live model (We do all we can to supply models for these dates however you may be asked to support this where necessary).
Session 1 –
Intro to tanning, skin types, skin conditions and contra-indications. Products – pre care, correct selection and aftercare. Full spray tanning treatment
You will be required to submit a minimum of 3 case studies, and 1 knowledge quiz online prior to certification.

You will be required to submit a minimum of 3 case studies, and 1 assignment online prior to attending Session 2
You may also be required to sit online/paper based examinations, depending on the awarding organisation that is regulating your qualification. If this is required, this will be scheduled for the end of session 2

Spray Tanning - Conversion Course
Already hold a tanning certificate or experience that you are looking to update, or convert to a regulated qualification? We can help!
You will be required to submit evidence of your current certification or experience, and at least 3 current clients (within the last 3 months) that you treat with spray and self-tanning products and an assignment online prior to attending an assessment session. During the assessment session, you will be required to carry out a minimum of 3 tanning treatments, including working on full bodies using spray and manual tan products.
You may also be required to sit online/paper based examinations, depending on the awarding organisation that is regulating your qualification. If this is required, this will be scheduled for the start of the assessment session.
One of our qualified assessors will evaluate your application, and inform you of whether you are required to attend a skills evaluation prior to your assessment session. It is important to note that a skills assessment is recommended in every case, as a prior qualification or experience does not guarantee you will be considered competent during your assessment session. Your competency is assessed on performance during your assessment session, along with your supporting assignment and examination where required.
