Skin Peeling - Accredited
Chemical peels are specialist products used to treat specific skin problems. This course covers a range of popular, common peel products including when and how to apply, pre-care and after care and of course the essential knowledge relating to the treatment. We use high quality approved products for training.
The theory element of this course will be delivered online PRIOR to attendance. Essential information will be recapped during the course, and you will have access to discuss any queries with a tutor throughout the online learning process.
This is a 1 day course, in which you will be working on live models. You will be required to submit a minimum of 3 case studies online.
All sessions will involve practice on a live model (We do all we can to supply models for these dates however you may be asked to support this where necessary), and you will be able to add a kit to your booking so that you are able to complete case studies.
If you prefer, we can arrange time for you to complete your case studies at the centre, allowing you to invest in your choice of products and kits after you have gained your qualification.
You must hold level 3 beauty therapy, plus/including a skin care unit. A regulated L3 Anatomy and Physiology qualification is a widely accepted pre-requisite, however, you should check with your insurance company to ensure they will accept this qualification prior to booking.

Skin conditions and contra-indications. Products & tools – pre care, correct selection, application and aftercare.
You will be required to submit a minimum of 3 case studies, and 1 knowledge quiz online prior to certification.

Practical skill assessment session
You will be required to submit a minimum of 3 case studies, and two assignments online prior to attending session 2.
You may also be required to sit online/paper based examinations, depending on the awarding organisation that is regulating your qualification. If this is required, this will be scheduled for the end of session 2

Skin Peeling - Conversion Course
Already hold a Chemical Peel certificate or experience that you are looking to update, or convert to a regulated qualification? We can help!
You will be required to submit evidence of your current certification or experience, and at least 3 current clients (within the last 3 months) that you treat with a range of chemical peel treatments, and two assignments online prior to attending an assessment session. During the assessment session, you will be required to carry out a minimum of 4 full treatments, including application of pre and post care products.
You also need to hold a regulated Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (including face or body electricals), or regulated L3 in Anatomy & Physiology to be able to convert your existing skills and knowledge. If you need to gain either of these qualifications, please let us know as we are able to help!
One of our qualified assessors will evaluate your application, and inform you of whether you are required to attend a skills evaluation prior to your assessment session. It is important to note that a skills assessment is recommended in every case, as a prior qualification or experience does not guarantee you will be considered competent during your assessment session. Your competency is assessed on performance during your assessment session, along with your supporting assignment and examination where required.
