L2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy - Ofqual Regulated
Cover all core treatments with a regulated L2 Beauty Therapy Diploma.
This is a 16 session course, covering the following units in detail (including written assignments, practical assessments)
- Health and Safety
- Effective work within a team
- Promote products and services
- Manicure
- Pedicure
- Waxing
- Eye treatments
- Facials
- Make up
- Salon reception
The theory element of this course will be delivered online PRIOR and between attendance sessions. Essential information will be recapped during the course, and you will have access to discuss any queries with a tutor throughout the online learning process.
This training course will ensure you have the knowledge and skills to meet the Ofqual regulated diploma at Level 2. All sessions will involve practice on live models (We do all we can to supply models for these dates however you may be asked to support this where necessary), and you will be able to add a kit to your booking so that you are able to complete case studies in your own time.
We do have the opportunity to accredit your treatments as you progress, allowing you to 'Earn while you Learn', however, if you prefer, we can arrange time for you to complete your case studies at the centre, allowing you to invest in your choice of products and kits after you have gained your qualification.
You will be required to submit at least one assignment online for each unit prior to certification.
You may also be required to sit online/paper based examinations, depending on the awarding organisation that is regulating your qualification. If this is required, these will be scheduled within your session times
All assessments are carried out in our Colchester based training venue, unless otherwise agreed

Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy - Conversion Course
Already hold a range of basic beauty therapy certificates or experience that you are looking to update, or convert to a regulated qualification? We can help!
You will be required to submit evidence of your current certification or experience, and at least 1 current clients record (within the last 3 months) that you treat for each treatment. You will be required to complete and upload at least one assignment per unit online prior to attending your assessment sessions. During the assessment sessions, you will be required to carry out a bespoke range of treatments. These will be pre-agreed and planned with you individually. We would recommend you allow approximately 6 attendance sessions.
You may also be required to sit online/paper based examinations, depending on the awarding organisation that is regulating your qualification. If this is required, this will be scheduled for the start of the assessment sessions.
One of our qualified assessors will evaluate your application, and inform you of whether you are required to attend a skills evaluation prior to your assessment session. It is important to note that a skills assessment is recommended in every case, as a prior qualification or experience does not guarantee you will be considered competent during your assessment session. Your competency is assessed on performance during your assessment session, along with your supporting assignment and examination where required.
